The
laminate products used are common for the gun industry and will match
similar products from other stock manufacturers; select from Black/Silver,
Green Mountain Camo or Brown/Nutmeg. The items do, however, vary by
dye-lot from our supplier, so slight variation can occur. If you are
interested in another laminate color scheme please let us know as it
may also be available in limited quantity.
All Bullberry/Woodsmith stocks are custom
designed with cast-off stocks with an offset palm swell pistol grip.
Stocks are made to order with your fit and finish in mind.
Right hand, left hand, and ambidextrous models are available.
Our standard stocks are made longer and higher than the industry average
and will have most shooters looking right down the scope.
Any length of pull or comb height can be ordered at no additional
cost.
We have a wide variety of pads to choose from by Pachmayr® including
Decelerator pads.
Your choices of wood are virtually unlimited. We carry English, Bastogne,
and Black walnut, as well as accenting woods in Oak, Sycamore, Ebony
and Coco Bollo Rosewood.
All wood blanks are fully cured
to a minimum moisture content and most are available in grades from
utility to exhibition.
A variety of forearm styles are also available – schnabel, sporter,
target, or wide target. All forearms mount on our exclusive hanger bar.
The hanger bar is made of 5/16" square steel and mounts to the
dovetail inserts on the underside of our barrels in normal Super 14
spacing. Our forearms mount only to this bar. This creates, in effect,
a forearm free-floating from the barrel, alleviating external stresses.
Forearms are custom made 7 to 12 inches long, to your choice. If you
have a factory barrel without a hanger bar these may be ordered separately
for the Contender and G2 in order to fit T/C and other after-market
barrels to our custom woodwork. The standard bar used on all our barrels
fits the T/C Super 12 and 14" pistols, sold for $10 each. The long
hanger bar is built for T/C Carbine barrels and sells for $12, attachment
screws included.
Stocks and forearms can be semi- or fully finished. Our newest finish
method is most comparable to the T/C® production finish. Our super
tough epoxy finish is still available in satin or gloss. See below for
the price break-down.
We are always happy to assist the amateur gunmaker who is using our
semi-finished stocks in the preparation and finishing of his Woodsmith
project.
Pistol grips are also available. Mail or fax a tracing of your outstretched
hand for a proper fit.
